Achilles Strain: A strain to the achilles can happen for many different reasons. A lot of the time when a strain happens to the Achilles, it happens when the athlete is jumping, causing the Achilles to quickly stretch out. Sometime if there is a previous tendonitis injury in the Achilles, this can cause it to be stiff, making a strain occur easier. Sometimes when an athlete sprains their ankle, they can compromise their Achilles also. Whatever the reason an athlete may need their Achilles taped, here is a “how to” video that I hope is helpful.
