A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Maria received her Bachelor of Science in Health and Human Performance from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in 2016. She continued her education at St. Catherine University, received her A.A.S. as a Physical Therapy Assistant in May of 2020 and is currently pursuing her goal of getting into DPT school. Maria has clinical experience in a variety of different settings and patient types including outpatient orthopedics, neurological rehab, geriatrics, inpatient acute care, and pediatric rehab. Maria has a passion for returning patients back to what they love most, especially sports. Sports have been a big part of her life since she can remember. She danced competitively from a young age into college and ran track from seventh grade into her junior year at UW-River Falls. She likes to get to know her patients and understand their expectations, which she utilizes to help them reach their full potential.
Spare Time Activities
Maria loves spending time with her friends and family, mostly relaxing when she can. She and her husband are big fishermen who are fond of being on their boat in the summer and hiding in their ice shack during the winter. Maria also manages a restaurant very part time on the weekends in Vadnais Heights that holds a dear place in her heart. When she is not doing any of the above, she is outside running with her rambunctious German Shepherd/Husky mix, Rex.
