Having Knee or Ankle Pain? See a Physical Therapist First!

Posted by

In my practice as a Physical Therapist, I commonly see people with knee and ankle pains.  These pains could be due to any number of reasons, but often the pains are due to some kind of musculoskeletal issue – a sprain or a strain, poor strength or balance, or even a more chronic issue like the development of arthritis.

Did you know that in the State of Minnesota, you can see a Physical Therapist for 90 calendar days without an MD referral?  Also, did you know that Physical Therapists are specialists in musculoskeletal issues? Whether you are a runner, a biker, a walke,r or gardener – if you have a pain in your knee or your ankle, one of OSI’s Physical Therapists would love to see you and help figure out your pain.  We will do a full assessment of the area of your pain and be able to either recommend a course of Physical Therapy to help you get back to your level of activity or suggest a referral to the appropriate medial person depending on your need.
