I have been a Physical Therapist since 2006 working in outpatient orthopedics in Colorado and Minnesota. My undergraduate degree in Athletic Training gives me a strong background in sports but I enjoy working with people of all ages and abilities, returning them to the activities that are important to them. I treat all orthopedic conditions but have a special interest in lower body injuries. I use a wide variety of treatment techniques which may include manual therapy, Pilates, blood flow restriction therapy, and targeted exercises.
I spend most of my spare time with my husband, 2 kids, and dogs trying to get outside as much as possible playing in the yard, gardening, camping, hiking, and kid’s sports activities. When I get some time to myself, I like to do something active like yoga, running, skiing, group fitness class, Pilates, or just taking a walk in our neighborhood.

Prior to shoulder treatment at OSI, the pain got so bad I was convinced that only some sort of invasive procedure would fix me. My GP recommended physical therapy and I agreed, although secretly doubtful that exercise and posture would help. When I started with Katie, I was taking alternate doses of Tylenol and Advil a few hours apart, icing, and various menthol topicals. Now I need none of these. I feel better in my upper back, neck and shoulder than I have in years. I am so thankful to have discovered PT as a resource for chronically poor body mechanics. Katie never lectured me. She listened and seemed to adjust her treatment based on my feedback. And it worked! Top of the line treatment. I would recommend Katie without reservation.
Running, rollerblading, chasing kids. We are enjoying raising our three kids in the same community where my husband and I both grew up. We like attending Stillwater area sporting events, SATTS and playing at the St. Croix River.

“I just wanted to share with you how HAPPY I am that I have had several months now of NO PAIN when I run, NO PAIN when I sit, and NO PAIN when I sleep!! I have religiously followed your strength training recommendations, and I have balanced running (3-5 miles at a time, 2-3x/week) with my biking, elliptical, and walking. Everything is so much better and continues to be great!”
