Tammy graduated in 1994 with a Masters Degree in physical therapy from the University of North Dakota. She enjoys working with all types orthopedic conditions, but she specializes in spine rehab, pelvic health, jaw pain and dysfunction. She also heads the Industrial Medicine program at the Forest Lake clinic. This includes Work Conditioning Program, Functional Capacity Evaluation and Functional Testing to return to work. Through her experience Tammy has learned that manual therapy techniques are very important in helping clients feel better and learn more about their bodies. She combines this with exercises in the clinic and for home use. She also takes time to educate her patients using various models and materials so that the client understands the reasoning behind their symptoms and how they will learn to improve. Tammy became interest in physical therapy when she was young, injuring herself playing sports and had to attend physical therapy herself.
In her free time, Tammy enjoys going for long walks and bike riding with her son and husband. She loves entertaining family and friends, baking, and cake decorating when she can.
