School’s Out For Summer
The end of the school year is a fun and sometimes a hectic time of year for parents! For some of you, it’s a time to plan a Graduation party and for others to find appropriate summer daycare. Either way, you’ve got your work cut out! These days, it seems that kids like to have their time planned out far in advance which always poses a challenge for parents. Stillwater Log Jam
Friday, July 18th – Sunday, July 20th
Stillwater Log Jam is Stillwater’s new summer celebration are held in Lowell Park adjacent to the beautiful St. Croix River in historic downtown Stillwater. Night to Unite
Tuesday, August 5th
The Stillwater Police Department will be celebrating their annual “Night to Unite” event in Washington Square, located at 801 Greeley Street South from 5pm-9pm. This event is to heighten crime prevention awareness, generate support and participation in local anti-crime efforts, as well as strengthen and develop police community partnerships. Highlights of the evening include: Police Officers with police equipment, Fire Fighters and Fire Trucks, K9 Demonstration, City Council Members, Lakeview EMS and Ambulance, National Guard and Humvee, Free Snow Cones, Games, and Prizes and Local businesses (Cub Foods, Target, and Dairy Queen). Woodbury Days Bike Ride
Saturday, August 23rd
The Woodbury Days Bike Ride is a recreational ride for cyclists of all abilities and is not a race. The 10-mile ride is on bike paths. The 30 & 60 mile rides are on public roads and it goes through beautiful City of Stillwater. This event is free to the public and is brought to you by Woodbury Days Council, an all-volunteer group. Gopher to Badger Half Marathon
Saturday, August 9th
The ½ marathon race starts at 8 am at the Browns Creek Park parking lot off of McKusick Road & Neal Avenue and runs through Stillwater ending in Hudson. There is also a 5K race starting at 8:10 am. For more information visit www.finalstretch.com
Great River Ragnar Relay
Friday, August 15th through Saturday, August 16th
An exhilarating long-distance relay race running from LaCrosse, WI to Minneapolis, MN and will be passing through Stillwater in the early hours on Saturday. For more information go to www.GreatRiverRelay.com
5K Run for the Blue Line

Join us in supporting our military by running or walking for Defending the Blue line. This fun 5k event will begin and end at the Lumberyard Hockey and Sports Center located at 1650 Washington Ave in Stillwater. After the fun stay for family friendly games and activities, a silent auction, grill-out with Brine’s Market, watch 3×3 hockey games and more!
