Athletic Training Specialist
From an early age, sports and physical activity became a big part of my life. With the participation in a number of sports in my youth, I became familiar with the Physical Therapy field as a patient several times in high school. In college, I was fortunate enough to grab a part-time front desk position while attending classes at the University of Minnesota studying Health and Exercise Science. Since then, my love of health and wellness has grown, especially through working as an intern with the Training Room in Stillwater and becoming a NASM Certified Personal Trainer. Together, these two experiences led me to my current position as an Exercise Specialist in the Stillwater location where I work closely with therapists and their patients. Maintaining both positions at OSI and TTR, I serve as a bridge between the two, developing relationships with patients and transitioning them into a personalized exercise program combining therapy exercises and other exercises to meet other, personal goals. My passion only seems to grow and I am eager to pursue a future career as a physical therapist.
Outside of work, you can usually find me in the gym. However, I love to spend time up at my cabin with family and enjoy the spring and summer months running, wake boarding and water skiing. Winter is my favorite as I have found great delight in teaching adaptive snowboarding for individuals with disabilities. I aim to lead an active lifestyle and share my passions with others. See you at the gym!
