The Awesome Things Happening At Our Somerset Location
Outcomes
We are happy to report that our outcomes at the Somerset OSI clinic are very high and we have been awarded the Outcomes Excellence Award for the past 2 years. We pride ourselves in getting people to their optimal level of function in a short amount of time.
Anna O’Brien
We have a new team member with Anna O’Brien. Anna is a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) and comes to us with lots of experience and does an awesome job. She replaces Sandy Gress, PT, who has moved to our Maplewood location full time to be closer to home.
Pool
The pool at our Somerset location has been busy. We continue to offer pool therapy to our patients. The pool is a great environment for exercising arthritic or painful joints including backs, knees, hips, and shoulders. It is also a great place for rehab following surgery, as it is easier to weight bear and exercise in the water. Exercises are less stressful on the joints and tolerated better. Many of the pool exercises we do are in the shallow end of the pool so knowing how to swim is NOT a requirement for using the pool.
The Training Room is also offering swimming lessons to all ages. Michele Bauer is our swim instructor and can be contacted at 715-247-5770 for information on small group or individual classes.
