Jess here, the rock climber you’ve helped for several hand and wrist issues over the past year. I’m really psyched to say that my hands, wrists, elbows, and shoulders feel fantastic and I’ve been doing some of my best climbing to date recently! I just got back from a trip to Devil’s Tower and the Black Hills and am so pleased that continuation of the exercises you’ve given me has helped me take my climbing to such awesome places! I can’t thank you enough for the huge role you’ve played in helping me accomplish these climbing goals and stay strong in the sport which I am most passionate about!
Now that the weather is getting colder and it’s time to move indoors, my boyfriend and I are starting a pretty rigorous training program, and injury prevention is one of the most important parts of it. I’ve been continuing with the wrist stabilization, tendon gliding, and intrinsic finger exercises you gave me last year and I can feel them working really well in preventing injury.
Hope all is well and you’ve gotten a few climbers added to your roster – every time someone brings up hand wrist or elbow ailment I always send them your info 🙂
