Tips From ‘The Prose’: Can You Do This? (Core Training)
Here’s an advanced core and hip exercise for you. This is a great exercise for someone who needs advanced hip exercises that incorporates core and hip stability on one side while moving and strengthening the opposite side. Make sure before you lift up into your plank, your abs are engaged and when you lift the leg, think about lifting up and slightly back to engage you hip and butt muscles without using your back or losing your plank position.
I use this exercise with so many of my patients, athletes and overall active people and the research is really supportive of this exercise in being part of a program to resolve knee pain in females. Good luck!
